Electronic Moisture Meter for wood and plaster. The Hydromette Compact allows moisture checks on timber, veneer, wooden frames, windows and doors. Completely automatic instrument setting. No separate electrodes or leads required.

The hand closes naturelly around the ergonomic form of the housing so that the pins on the end of the instrument can be pressed into the material to be measured. The thin points make it easy to measure the moisture content of sawn timber, chipboard, veneer and fiberboard materials up to a maximum of 25 mm thickness as well as normal gypsum or mixed plaster.

General Remarks
The Hydromette Compact is equipped with a selector for setting two different calibrations for wood. Wood species group 2 and 3 of the standard table of wood species apply. The reading refers to a wood temperature of 20°C.
With the selector switch set to position B, also moisture checks on plaster are possible. The reading are displayed direct in percent of dry weight.

Calibration
The meter is fitted with an electronic setting device making manual calibration or adjustment unnecessary.
